1. Introduction
Welcome to Cat Designa ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application, which automates the publishing of content to Pinterest via the Pinterest API.
By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Access
Our application accesses the following data through authorized APIs:
- Your Pinterest account information (username, profile) — only to identify your account for publishing
- Your Pinterest boards — to select the destination board for pins
- Images stored in your Google Drive folder — only the folder you designate for upload
- File names — used as pin titles
We do not collect passwords, financial data, or any personal information beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use the Information
- To create and publish Pinterest pins on your behalf
- To generate AI-assisted pin descriptions and alt-text from image file names
- To schedule pins across future dates automatically
- To remove images from your designated Google Drive folder after successful upload
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties.
4. Data Storage
This application does not maintain a persistent database or server. All operations are performed in real time and no image files or Pinterest account data are stored on our systems beyond the duration of a single session.
AI-generated descriptions are produced via the Anthropic Claude API and are not retained after the session ends.
5. Third-Party Services
This application integrates with the following third-party services:
- Pinterest API — for publishing pins. Subject to Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
- Google Drive API — for reading and deleting image files. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic Claude API — for generating descriptions. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke access to your Pinterest account at any time via Pinterest settings
- Revoke access to your Google Drive at any time via Google account settings
- Request information about what data was processed
- Request deletion of any stored data (though we do not store data persistently)
7. Security
We use OAuth 2.0 authorization flows for both Pinterest and Google APIs. We never store your access tokens in plain text. All API communications are made over HTTPS.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
